OAE Student Coordinator

Overview:
As a Student Coordinator at the Bepko Learning Center, I manage the Resource Desk and oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for students, mentors, and program staff. I play an essential role in leading outreach efforts, facilitating recruitment, and coordinating training sessions to enhance student engagement and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Resource Desk Management:
I manage the Resource Desk, where I oversee daily operations, assist students, mentors, and staff, and resolve any issues that may arise. I ensure that students have access to the support and resources they need to succeed.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
I track and analyze attendance data, compile semester reports, and identify trends to help improve the effectiveness of the program. My ability to assess data helps inform decisions that enhance the overall student experience.

Outreach and Engagement:
I lead outreach efforts for 1:1 workshops and training sessions, coordinating planning, communication, attendance tracking, and survey analysis. This initiative helps improve student engagement and participation in academic success workshops.

Staff Recruitment and Training:
I oversee the recruitment of new academic success coaches, conducting interviews and evaluating candidates to ensure they align with program goals. Additionally, I design and facilitate training sessions on the Coaching Model, equipping staff with the necessary skills to support student success.

Program Development:
Through brainstorming and data-driven decision-making, I propose and implement program improvements to enhance student support services. I actively contribute to refining and evolving the coaching program to meet the needs of our students.

Impact:
In this role, I have developed leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills. Working as a Student Coordinator has also enhanced my ability to manage and support a diverse team, while continuously improving the quality of services provided to students. My work contributes to a positive and supportive environment that fosters student success and well-being.
